The Forté AP is our most feature-packed grinder to date: time and weight-based dosing, 260 steps of grind adjustment, removable portafilter, and a capacative touchscreen. 260 Grind Settings:
Offering 260 steps of combined macro and micro grind settings optimized with an espresso-focused calibration that can be customized, this grinder allows for grinding all styles of coffee between espresso and cold brew, while allowing you to further hone in that elusive perfect espresso shot. Select your general grind size with the macro grind settings and fine-tune precisely with the micro grind settings.
54mm Flat Ceramic Burrs:
At the heart of the Forté AP are durable 54mm flat ceramic burrs from commercial burr manufacturer, Ditting. These burrs are designed to make espresso shots easier to dial in, with their bi-modal grind distribution, while emphasizing the rich, syrupy quality of a classic espresso.
Time or Weight Dosing:
Use the touch screen to pick between time-based or weight-based dosing, down to the tenth of a second or tenth of a gram, and save either to 3 programmable presets for each method. If you prefer to portion your beans out in advance, use the manual grinding mode to grind until you press stop.
Portafilter Holder:
The adjustable, all-metal portafilter holder allows the Forté AP to grind directly into your portafilter, hands-free. If you are grinding for other brew methods, the holder can be removed and swapped with the included grounds bin.
Easy Grind Calibration:
Finding that the wide grind range is not fine or coarse enough for your preferences? Use the included grind calibration tool to shift the overall grind range coarser or finer in seconds.
High-Torque Motor:
The DC motor and durable belt drive deliver the power needed to grind your coffee consistently with every dose.
